Patrick started going to The Chris Gethard Show in September 2011 when it was airing on working on Manhattan Neighborhood Network public access. In October, he said, “I’m going to the show so often, I should probably just start working on it, right?” He asked them if he could and they said yes. He wants to be clear that thats not how most TV shows work and that strategy probably won’t work for everyone. You can try it out though, it might work!.

After spending a few months answering phones and wrapping up cords, he eventually started working as Production Coordinator, a role he held from 2011 - 2015. The job comprised of audience and crew coordination, ticket distribution, and operating lead camera. He continued to work as Production Coordinator for the unaired pilot for Comedy Central and the first season of the show on Fusion. He produced the 12-hour live 2016 Election Day special that aired on MNN in New York City and was streamed online. You’ll never see it. He is one of two people who has a copy of it and doesn’t think it’ll ever see the light of day again.

He was the talent producer on The Chris Gethard Show on truTV, produced by Funny or Die, Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis and Adam McKay. During his three years as talent booker, guests included Paul Rudd, Jon Hamm, Lena Dunham, Paul Giamatti, Blake Griffin, John Oliver, Aubrey Plaza, Abbi Jacobson, and Will Ferrell

Connor Ratliff loves Tony Hale in Veep and Arrested Development, and we gave him the oppurtunity to interview the man himself on the set of TCGS. The twist? He needs to eat a vegetable before each question. Easy, right? ...Maybe not for Connor. Want more of the weirdest, and often saddest, talk show on television?
